Farwest Farms Horse Riding Camps

Camp Schedule
Riding Lessions and Trail Rides

Whether you trail ride, barrel race, compet in pleasure or performance, or have never ridden before, Farwest Farms offers a fun and educational experience for all horse riding levels at our horse camps. Come join us for a fun and exciting learning experience at our horse camps. We are located just north of downtown Spokane, Washington. Our horse camps are based on learning about horsemanship, horseback riding, sportsmanship and general to advanced horse care. Campers will also learn how a working horse farm operates and participate in farm chores. Camps are all female, unless listed as a boys or co-ed camp.

Some of the activities will include:

Demonstrations with an equine farrier, veterinarian, trainer or chiropractor, daily riding lessons, mounted and unmounted games, hayrides, wimming, equine art, crafts & horse videos. Campers will gain experiences completing farms chores, such as cleaning stalls, pens and farm maintenance. Overnight campers will either sleep in a tent or a rustic log home bunk house supervised by farm staff. To wrap it all up, and show off everything campers learn, we have an "End of Camp Show" where the riders perform, and have an equitation class. Campers wear their new FWF camp t-shirt during the show. On Wednesday night we have a pizza party at the Pizza Factory Restaurant in Suncrest. (Families are invited!)

Please note that each camp is limited to 10 riders ages 8 to 16. Bring your own horse or lease one of ours. ASTM/SEI certified helmets and boots with at least a "1" inch heel are required for camps and all riders under 18 at Farwest Farms.
